Elizabeth Storey, M.Ed., LPCS, NCC

Elizabeth Storey is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Masters of Education degree in Counseling from Delta State University.  She is also certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She is a Board Qualified Supervisor for counselors seeking licensure in the state of Mississippi.​  Elizabeth has experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and family therapy.  She has worked in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization, and private practice settings.  She has received certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.  She has also received advanced training in grief, depression, anxiety, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Behavior Disorders.

Karissa Coleman, ED.S, LPC, NCC, NCSC

Karissa Coleman has an Education Specialist degree in Counselor Education from the University o f Mississippi.  She is a licensed professional counselor, a national board-certified counselor, a national board-certified school counselor, and is currently working towards becoming a board-certified tele-mental health counselor.  Karissa has 17 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.  She also has 12 years of professional work experience in mental health in crisis and inpatient hospitalization.  She has experience helping clients with family conflicts, and coping with life changes.  It is her goal to provide clients with assistance and guidance to support and improve their social/emotional well-being.  She considers herself to be a bridge and an advocate for her clients.

Sandra Moss, M.Ed., CMHT

Sandra Moss has a Master’s in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Community Counseling from the University of Mississippi.  Sandra is a certified mental health therapist and has been working in the mental health system in Mississippi for many years both inpatient and outpatient.  Sandra’s specialty is trauma and she utilizes psychodrama and emotionally focused therapy to help clients resolve their trauma histories and move forward in life.  Sandra is able to conduct psychosexual assessments to make therapeutic recommendations to the courts, and is certified to complete SASSI assessments for alcohol and drug clients as well.  Sandra has experience working with clients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, schizophrenia, and substance abuse disorders.  Sandra loves working with adults, couples, adolescents, and families in both individual and group settings. 

LaPortia F. Hence, MS, PLPC

LaPortia Hence has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jackson State University.  LaPortia is a seasoned Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor with an impressive 5-year track record in the mental health field.  Specializing in working with adolescents, children, and adults, she has honed her expertise in both residential and outpatient settings.  LaPortia is characerized by her unwavering empath and compassion, firmly believing that everyone deserves a safe space to been seen, heard, and valued.  Her dedication to equipping clients with the essential coping skills to overcome adversity underscores her commitment to fostering growth and resilience in those she serves.  LaPortia Hence stands at the forefront of counseling, bringing a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for empowering individuals on their journey to emotional well-being. 

Kaitlin Filkins, MS, NCC, PLPC, CMHT, CAT

Kaitlin Filkins has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University.  She is a national board certified counselor, a certified mental health therapist, and certified addiction therapist.  Kaitlin is also currently a provisional licensed professional counselor on track to become fully licensed.  She has worked in the mental health field for 5 years, with experience in both residential and outpatient settings.  Kaitlin has experience working with both adults and adolescents in individual and group settings.   Kaitlin has experience working individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and addiction, as well as other life stressors that may be making it hard to function on a day to day basis.  She is passionate about provided a safe space to learn more adaptive coping skills to help improve quality of life.
